13 senior political activists join JKAP

JAMMU, March 19: Thirteen political activists including two former zonal presidents of PDP and general secretary National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Thursday joined Jammu Kashmir Apni Party in Jammu, in presence of JKAP president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.

According to a spokesman of the JKAP, the thirteen new entrants to JKAP included Nasir-ud-Din Wani (zonal president PDP Ramnagar Udhampur), Ajit Sharma (Zonal president PDP Udhampur), Yasir Choudhary general secretary (NSUI Kathua), Haji Bashir Ahmad (PDP Ramnagar), Noor Alam, Ishaq Khan (Ramnagar), Khan Mohammad (Ramnagar), Girdari Lal (Basangarh), Mohammad Ashraf (Ramnagar), Nazir ahmad (Ramnagar), Rajeev Thakur (Udhampur), Moti Lal Khajuria (Panchari Udhampur) and Krishan Sharma from Udhampur.

These prominent socio-political activists were welcomed by Bukhari on their joining JKAP at his residence in Gandhinagar in Jammu. The new entries to Party expressed their desire to use their influence and personal potential for a positive change in their respective areas through JKAP.

“JKAP provides an effective and viable platform to render our services for the public good in our respective areas. The leadership of Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and his political ideology is a blend of experience and conviction. His performance during his tenure as the minister in Jammu and Kashmir government has inspired us for our joining his party,” they newly joined political activists remarked.

Welcoming the move, Bukhari said that the dynamic political activists who joined JKAP today shall strengthen political platform by their hard work, dedication and commitment towards public good.

“I am hopeful that your potential will be utilized by the party for public good in Udhampur and Kathua districts. We have to go a long a way and you all are requested to work very hard to address the problems and sufferings of people in your respective areas,” JKAP president said.
