SRINAGAR, MARCH 12: The P.G. Department of Computer Applications, Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) organized a one day workshop on “Information and Communications Technology” titled ‘Internet Technologies and Office Applications’ for the students of the college, here the other day.

On the occasion, Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Yasmeen Ashai, in her inaugural address, emphasized the need of using Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tools and technologies in daily life and learning.

Prof. Ab. Qayoom Sofi, (Assistant Professor and Head of the Department), delivered welcome note and highlighted the importance and impact of Information and Communications Technology in Education.

Prof. Rashid Ashraf Malik, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications delivered lecture on Internet Technologies and a detailed presentation on ICT in Teaching Learning Process was given by Prof. Qurat-ul-Ain, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications.

The participants were given hands on training on Graphic Designing tools. The workshop concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Prof. Ab. Qayoom Sofi.
