Srinagar: A civilian was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Friday evening in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The slain has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohammad Sideeq Bhat resident of Tral Payeen.
According to police Bhat was on way to Tral Gamrez in his vehicle when he was shot at by unknown gunmen.
Soon after the incident he was taken to nearby hospital were doctors declared him dead on his arrival.
