Advisor Khan lays foundation for Employment Complex at Jammu

JAMMU, MARCH 03- Advisor to Lieutenant Governor Farooq Khan today laid the foundation stone for Mini Secretariat, Employment Complex, at Toph Sherkhaniya.

The Advisor was accompanied by Commissioner Secretary, Labour & Employment, Saurabh Bhagat; Labour Commissioner, Abdul Rashid War and other officials of the concerned departments.

Speaking on the occasion, Advisor Khan said that this complex will be beneficial for the unemployed youth of J&K who will get proper counselling regarding different avenues of employment here.

The Advisor maintained that the establishment of guidance centre for overseas employment will be encouraging for the youngsters having professional degrees who want to pursue career outside country.

The Advisor, later, inspected the site of construction and directed the concerned officials that all the requisite safety guidelines should be followed while constructing this building. He also asked them to built walking ramp for differently able persons besides installing solar panels for energy requirements.

Commissioner Secretary, while speaking on the occasion, said that the building will have proper counselling and training centre for the youth. He added that different agencies like JKEDI and others will also train  youth under different schemes and programmes.
