Beigh welcomes Jitenders Singh’s statement on domicile rights
Srinagar Feb 23: Senior PDP leader and former deputy chief minister Muzaffar Hussian Beigh on Sunday welcomed the Union minister Jitender Singh statement in which he said that residents of Jammu and Kashmir will get domicile rights soon.
“People of Jammu and Kashmir will get a relief after domicile rights are given to them,” locals news agency KNS quoted Beigh as saying. He said after abrogation of Article 370, he has been pitching for domicile rights and statehood for the newly created Union Territory.
Beigh said “if Government of India grants these two things, will be a great relief and will pave way for further progress and development in the state.”
He hoped that the words of Jitenders Sigh “will be backed by action”. (KNS)
