Srinagar: A Capacity Building Tour (CBT) has been organized by Indian Army for the youth of Shopian and Kulgam districts.
The flagging off the tour was held in a colorful ceremony at Awantipur.
20 students and 01 teacher accompanied by an officer would undertake this tour to Bengaluru and New Delhi from 01 Feb to 10 Feb 2020. The tour has been organized with an aim to give the youth an exposure to various job opportunities existing outside Jammu & Kashmir.
The General Officer Commanding addressed the youth and exhorted them to make best use of this opportunity. He emphasized that such an exposure to vast employment opportunities outside Jammu and Kashmir will surely make a positive impact on the young minds.
He also encouraged them to see places of historical importance along with places of learning and experience the vast culture of this great nation. It is envisaged that this tour will boost the self – confidence of these young minds and open them to a new world full of opportunities.
