BUDGAM, AUGUST 01: Tariq Hussain Ganai today took over as Deputy Commissioner Budgam. He was received by officers of district administration during a function held here during which former DC Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar was accorded a warm farewell.
In her address, the outgoing DC lauded the role and support of officers of district administration under her tenure. She shared fond memories of Budgam and highlighted the contribution of all officers who worked with her during the period in various capacities.
The incumbent DDC on the occasion hailed the efforts of Dr. Sehrish in transforming the developmental landscape of the district. He said her tenure reflects new benchmarks in governance she has set while rendering her illustrious service.
Later an introductory meeting was convened with all district officers DDC Budgam Tariq Hussain Ganai in chair. In his address, the DDC stressed officers to work in tandem as a family and ensure prompt delivery of services.
He instructed officers to adopt people friendly attitude to ensure redressal of public grievances in time bound manner without causing any inconveniences to the general public.
The DC said he would be taking feedback from the people directly about the process of work in all departments.
