Anantnag, July 31: The residents of Pazalpora, Uranhall and its adjacent areas in Anantnag district are up in arms against the authorities for failing to improve the condition of Pazalpora-Uranhall road.

Residents told that Kashmir Images that the authorities have been assuring us that the road will be repaired, however road is lying in dilapidated condition from past one decade.

“Authorities have failed to macadamize this road since last 15 years,” said Imtiyaz Ahmad a local resident, adding that the bad condition of this road has becomes a nuisance during rainfall.

He further said that we have visited the offices of concerned officials several times but to no avail.

When contacted Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Roads and Building (R&B) department Bijbehara division said that the projected of Pazalpora-Uranhall road has been handed-over to NABARD.
