Srinagar, 31: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference party vice president on Wednesday asked the workers to forge unity to meet the challenges the state is facing, saying that it was imperative for the party workers to take the party program to every door step.

Exhorting the party workers to increase their engagement with the public, party vice president said, “The need of the hour calls for increasing interaction with the public. In a democratic set up, it is the people that have to make a final choice. In the parliament elections, the people across the state had overwhelmingly came out in support of NC. There is no scope of complacency. The situation demands us to be more effective in our engagement with the people.   In order to meet the challenges it is imperative for all of us to work in unison with each other. The grass root level workers, the functionaries have to gear up and ensure that the party program reaches every house hold. The situation demands a sturdy response from us.”
