Srinagar, July 31: Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo on Wednesday said that the National Medical Commission Bill moved by Central Government to replace Medical Council of India is injustice to medical education system.

“The move by the Central Government to replace MCI with NMC under NMC Bill is a complete flaw, raises questions on credibility of medical education system and injustice to medical fraternity of the entire country,” said Dr Tasaduk said.

He said that considering common Final year MBBS Exam as National Exit Test (NEXT) and making it a basis for the allocation of PG courses under NMC Bill is discrediting the whole course of MBBS.

“Relieving medical graduates of the separate exam for PG courses at the compromise of quality and credibility of whole MBBS course will serve no purpose in enhancing the medical education system in India,” he added.
