CS hosts farewell for Shahid Anayatullah on his retirement

SRINAGAR, JULY 31: Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam Wednesday hosted a simple but impressive farewell to bid adieu to Shahid Anayatullah, Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Revenue Department who retired on attaining superannuation today.

Financial Commissioner, Finance, Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education, Principal Secretary, Home, Principal Secretary, H&UD, Principal Secretary, Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Principal Secretary PD&MD, other Administrative Secretaries and senior officers participated in the function.

A direct recruit of 1984 Batch of J&K Revenue (G) Service, Shahid Anayatullah has held important positions during his illustrious career spanning around three and half decades. The positions held by the officer include Secretary, Transport, Secretary, Labor & Employment, Commissioner, Survey & Land Records and Commissioner Secretary, Revenue besides DC, Kishtwar.

Administrative Secretaries remembered their long association with Shahid Anayatullah and shared some fond memories and highlighted his contribution in various capacities.

While acknowledging the outstanding contribution of Shahid Anayatullah, Chief Secretary conveyed his best wishes to him and prayed for his good health and success post retirement. He particularly mentioned about the superb ability of the officer in handling revenue matters with ease and precision.
