Humhama Cricket Club register Emphatic Win against BCC

Sopore, July 26: In the ongoing Wular Premier League (WPL), first match of the day was played between Star Cricket Club Humhama and Bradman Cricket Club.

Bradman Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. The team scored 159 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Hazik Bhat was the top scorer with 68 runs and Imran Dar contributed with 35 runs.

For Star Humhama, Touseef took three wickets and Umer took two wickets.

In reply, Star Cricket Club Humhama achieved the target in the 17 overs. Reyaz Paul played a fine knock of 78 runs, with some lusting blows Suhil Paul contributed with 23 runs.

For Bradman Cricket Club, Mohammad Yousf and Ovais took two wickets each.

Reyaz Paul was declared man of the match.

In the second match of the day, Kaka-x1 thrashed Srinagar Gymkhana by 5 wickets here at Sheikhul Alam Sports field.

Jehangir played an important role in today’s win and later he was decided man of the match for his match winning knock of 33 runs.

Bating first, Srinagar Gymkhana were bundled out on 108 runs. Only Ishfaq and Gowher reached into the double figure with 16 runs each.

For Kaka-x1, Umer Nabi and Aadil took two wickets each.

In reply, Kaka-x1 chased the target in 17 overs for the loss of five wickets in which Jehangir was the top scorer with 33 runs.

This tournament is being oranised by Sports Association Tarzoo.
