PULWAMA, JULY 26: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama Syed Abid Rashid Shah today visited Awantipora and inspected the land and under-construction approach road to AIIMS and IUST Awantipora.
He was accompanied by Vice-Chancellor IUST Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad Sidique, ADC Mohammad Ashraf Haqaq, Tehsildar Awantipora Zubair Ahmad and other officials from the revenue department.
During his visit, DDC took stock of the acquired land for AIIMS, IUST and the construction of approach road from main town Awantipora to Islamic university & AIIMS.
DDC also held an interaction with the public whose land and the property has been acquired for construction of AIIMS /IUST and patiently listened to their issues.
DDC assured to the public that all their genuine demands will be settled amicably.
Earlier, DDC held a meeting with Vice-Chancellor IUST to discuss the issues pertaining to land acquisition and other related matters.
