Directorate of Agri Kashmir starts off-campus training programme

SRINAGAR, JULY 24: Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir on Wednesday started a four-day off-campus training programme on sampling and prosecution procedures under the Insecticide Act here at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi.

The training is organized in collaboration with the National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM) Hyderabad. 50 Technocrats of the department of Agriculture and 20 Technocrats from Horticulture Department Kashmir participated in today’s session.

Giving the details of the programme, Deputy Director Law Enforcement said this is the first time in history that the department is conducting such type of off-campus programme in collaboration with NIPHM.

He said that the schedule of the programme has been set in such a way that the participating technocrats will be imparted training with regard to various aspects of Insecticide Act 1968 and rules there under.
