16th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy-2019: Sahara CC Magam beat XI Brothers Srinagar

Pattan, July 24: In the ongoing 16th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy-2019, Mukhtar’s brilliant bowling helped Sahara CC Magam beat XI Brothers Srinagar in a low score contest on Wednesday.

After winning the toss, XI Brothers Srinagar decided to bat first and lost their wickets after regular intervals and managed to score 111 runs for the loss 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

For XI Brothers, Nayeem Ahmad remained the top scorer with 24 runs and Abid Gul contributed 20 runs.

For Sahara CC Magam, Mukhtar clinched 3 wickets while as Waseem & Inayat shared 2 wickets each.

In reply, Sahara CC Magam chased down the target in the 19th over for the loss of 6 wickets.

For Sahara Magam, Shameem ul Hassan remained the top scorer with 25 runs, while as Syed Irfan contributed 20 runs.

For Xi Brothers, Amir Afzal took 2 wickets.

Mukhtar Ahmad of Sahara CC Magam was awarded the Man of the match award for his brilliant bowling spell of 4 overs 14 runs and 3 wickets.

The tournament is organised annually by Shaheen Sports Association Chanderhama Pattan since past 16 years.
