Mohsin Ramzan, Aqib lead Sultan Warriors to victory against Vaadi Kashmir

Pattan, July 22: In the ongoing 16th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy-2019, Sultan Warriors defeated Vaadi Kashmir on Monday.

After winning the toss, defending champions Sultan Warriors Srinagar decided to bat first. From the very first ball, the batsman played aggressive cricket and posted a decent target of 200 runs on board. Mohsin Ramzan played 77 runs knoc, while as Aqib and Adil Border added 69 and 30 runs respectively for Sultans. Irfan took 2 wickets for Vaadi Kashmir.

In reply, RCC Vaadi Kashmir were bundled out on paltry 119 runs and lost the match by a big margin of 80 runs. Irfan and Asrar remained top scorer for them with 38 and 26 runs respectively.

For Sultans, Hilal took 3 wickets while as Zahoor, Sameer and Rayees shared two wickets each.

Man of the match award was jointly shared between Mohsin Ramzan and Aqib.

The tournament is organised annually by Shaheen Sports Association Chanderhama Pattan from past Sixteen years.
