Pulwama, July 22: A government middle school in Murran village of Pulwama district having enrollment of over 100 students is lacking proper space as the school functions in just four rooms.

The enrollment in this school as compared to other schools of the area is good but it is decreasing due to lack of accommodation, said a teacher.

We just have four rooms here and one among them is used as office, said the teacher.

“One more room is being constructed but it is not sufficient to accommodate all students. We are using the rooms of Panchayat as classrooms,” he added.

When contacted Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama, Naseem ul Gani, said that we have taken cognizance of the issue and new building will be constructed once funds are available.
