PULWAMA, JULY 22: District Development Commissioner Pulwama Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah today hosted a lunch for 44 orphans and deprived children of Markazi Falah-i-Atfaal Patal Bagh Galandar here at Circuit House Pulwama.
During interaction the DDC advised them to build self-confidence and self image. Calling education as an only empowering tool in life, the DDC stressed upon the children to inculcate ambitions and dream big.
The DDC enjoined upon the concerned officers to involve the children into extracurricular activities like sports, art and public speaking.
He further added that such interactions would pave a path towards minimising social inequalities and augmenting inclusiveness.
After having a lunch with the children, the DDC distributed sporting tracksuits among the children and directed the CMO to have an on spot de-worming programme at MFI Patalbagh this evening.
