Bradman-XI Sopore beat Rayees-XI Srinagar in last over thriller

Pattan, July 20: In the ongoing 16th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy-2019, Bradman-XI Sopore on Saturday defeated Rayees-XI Srinagar in last over thriller.

Bradman XI won the toss and elected to bat first. The team posted a total of 135 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Urfie and Asif Miller remained the top scorer with 30 runs each, while as Imran and Hazik Bhat contributed 27 and 25 runs respectively.

For Rayees-XI Srinagar Ovais and Nadeem clinched 2 wickets each.

In reply, Rayees-XI Srinagar lost their top 3 batsmen quickly as Owais and Shakir were absolutely brutal with the ball. It was Aadil Reshi and Aamir Sofi who played sensibly and scored 50 and 30 runs respectively but lost their wickets at crucial juncture and fell short of just 6 runs in the end.

For Bradman-XI, all the bowlers were absolutely sensational as Urfie clinched 3 wickets, while as Owais,Touseef and Shakir took 2 wickets each.

Urfie of Bradman-XI was declared as Man of the match for his brilliant all-round performance in which he scored 30 runs and took 3 wickets.
