Jammu: Leader of opposition in Rajaya Sabha and AICC General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad today held series of interactive sessions with the senior  leaders and party functionaries of different parts of Jammu province.

Azad who is on a three days tour of Jammu to have series of meetings with the party leadership of different constituencies of Jammu province held separate interactions with different groups of leaders from different districts.

PCC President G. A. Mir and top brass of the party including Tara Chand, Madan Lal Sharma, Raman Bhalla, Mula Ram, Jugal Kishore Sharama, Ravinder Sharma, R.S.Chib, Balwan Singh, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Rajnish Sharma, Manmohan Singh,  Shabir Ahmed Khan. He  had detailed discussions with the senior leaders, district presidents, former legislators, contesting candidates and Corporators of JMC and other senior functionaries from respective constituencies of Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi and Udhampur Districts today. He took stock of the organizational activities and instructed the leader to gear up the activities for the forth coming elections. He assured them to devote more time to the state to activate the cadres and strengthened the party in the state and asked all leaders to pull up their sleeves to make Congress strong and vibrant force in all three regions.

Azad arrived here yesterday, howover, he will cut short his schedule to attend the funeral of Sheila Dikshit in Delhi tomorrow afternoon.
