SRINAGAR, JULY 17: Dr. Satbir Bedi, Chairperson, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the RajBhavan here today.
Dr. Bedi apprised Governor about various ongoing initiatives of the NCTE for improving standards of education system throughout the country and challenges being faced in maintaining the standards of teacher education and teacher education institutions in the country.
Governor emphasised the crucial importance of well trained teachers for imparting quality education and urged Dr. Bedi to continue her endeavours in this regard.
