RPCC Wathoora beat Wanigam-XI by 4 wickets in a last over thriller

Pattan, July 16: In the ongoing 16th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy-2019, RPCC Wathoora beat Wanigam XI by 4 wickets in a last over thriller on Tuesday.

Batting first, Wanigam-XI  posted a descent total of 178 runs on board with sameer remaining the top scorer with brilliant 75 runs, while as Irfaq and Amir contributed 33 and 31 runs respectively.

For RPCC Wathoora, Raouf took 3 wickets, while as Junaid and Rakib shared 2 wickets each.

In reply, RPCC Wathoora chased down the target in the last over with 1 ball to spare.

For Wathoora, Samar remained the top scorer with 36, while as Maqssod,Ishtiyaq & Junaid contributed 26,25 & 17 runs respectively.

For Wanigam XI, Yasir took 2 wickets. Later, Junaid of RPCC Wathoora was declared as Man of the match for his brilliant all round performance in which he scored crucial 17 runs and took 2 wickets.

The tournament is being organised annually by Shaheen Sports Association Chanderhama Pattan.
