JKSPDC-XI defeat J&K Bank Academy by 2:1 goals

ARCO FC registers win against Kashmir Maharaja FC by solitary goal

Srinagar: In the ongoing State Annual League Football tournament, nine matches were played at Polo Ground West and Synthetic Turf TRC on Sunday.

At Polo Ground west Rangrath, FC defeated Real Kashmir U-15 by three goals to two, in the second match Tawheed FC and IFC Nowgam drew the Match. In the third match Lonestar U-15 defeated Court Road FC by one goal to Nil. The fourth match was played between Ali Jana FC and Majeed Bagh Fc of Jr. Division. Ali Jana FC defeated Majid Bagh FC by four goals to one. The fifth match was played between Qamarwari FC and Royal Sports. Qamarwari FC defeated Royal Sports Club by Two Goals to One.

In the first match, played at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground, Solina Sports and Syed Tajuddin Sports locked horns with one another. Both the teams scored two goals each. The match ended in 2:2 draw. The second match was played between Hyderya Sports and Rahim Green FC. Hyderya Sports defeated Rahim Green FC by one goal to Nil.

The third match was played between JKSPDC XI and J&K Bank Academy. Both teams created openings and trying to penetrate the defence lines. However J&K Bank Academy made a brilliant attempt at JKPDC XI goal and scored a nice goal in the 20th minute of 1st Half. The first half ended with 1:0 in favour of J&K Bank Academy. The second half was dominated by JKSPDC XI and their players made some excellent moves & leveled the score by scoring a brilliant goal. JKSPDC XI consolidated their position and in the dying movement of second half scored another goal. Thereby, JKSPDC XI defeated JK Bank Academy by two Goals to One.

The fourth match of Premier Division was played between Kashmir Maharaja FC and Arco FC Kashmir, the former dominated the start of the play but the solid defence of Arco FC foiled their moves.

In 43rd minute of 1st half Arco Sports scored a very nice field goal. In the second half Kashmir Maharaja Fc tried very hard to level the score but could not and thereby FC defeated Maharaja FC by a Solitary Goal.

The tournament is organized by District Football Association Srinagar.
