GANDERBAL, JULY 15: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan today chaired a meeting to review the status of land acquisition proceedings for construction of various projects under PMGSY.
ADC Ganderbal, Showkat Ahmad, CPO, Anika Mushtaq, ACR, Nisar Ahmad Malik, ExEn PMGSY and other concerned attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the DDC was briefed by the ExEn PMGSY with regard to the status of the land acquisition proceedings and disbursement of land compensation to the owners.
The meeting also discussed the issues which are causing delay in the completion of the land acquisition process.
DDC directed the concerned to maintain/update the record of the land identified for the projects under execution of PMGSY so that there is no confusion in completing the required formalities and disbursement of land compensation to the beneficiaries.
He sought the details about the number of cases resolved so far and asked the concerned officers to resolve the pending land acquisition cases on priority.
He directed the ACR to constitute a committee of revenue officials and concerned AEE, PMGY to assess the actual land acquisition on the ground to ensure that the real beneficiary receives the compensation against the land.
