Gowher’s all round performance help Srinagar Gymkhana’s defeat ASC

Sopore, July 14: In the ongoing Wular Premier League (WPL), first match of the day was played between Srinagar Gymkhana and Amateur Sports Club Srinagar.

Gymkhana won the toss and elected to bat first and put a modest total of 194 runs on the board for the loss of 4 wickets. Gowhar Bhat played a quickfire knock of 68 runs and Bilal made 40 unbeaten runs.

For Amateur Sports Club, Irfan and Tajamul took 1 wicket each.

Chasing a huge target of 195 runs, Amateur Sports Club fail fell short of 48 runs. Waseem 43 and Nasir scored 37 runs.

For Srinagar Gymkhana, Gowher took 3 wickets and Imtiyaz took brace.

Gowher was declared man of the match for his 63 run knock and 3 wickets.

This tournament is organized by Sports Association Tarzoo.
