Srinagar, July 8: Expressing deep shock and grief over the death of progressive writer and political analyst Shamim Faizi, CPI (M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has termed the demise as an irreparable loss.
Terming him a compassionate man of great conviction, Tarigami said that Shameem Faizi was a senior progressive author and writer known for his works in the field of journalism.
Referring to his various works, the CPI (M) leader said that the books authored and articles written by Faizi have tremendously added to the credible and authentic intellectual assets.
While expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Tarigami said that Faizi has created a void in the progressive journalism which is very difficult to be filled.
