KULGAM, JULY, 06: Secretary PWD (R&B) Khursheed Ahmad Shah along with DDC Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani today inaugurated 30-meter span girder bridge at Babapora village in Kulgam.

The bridge has been constructed at a cost of 392.98 lakh and will connect the Babapora and its adjacent villages to the district headquarter of Kulgam.

Earlier a 10-meter span bridge was also inaugurated by the Commissioner Secretary R&B at Ganjipora village.  The 10-meter long bridge has been constructed by R&B at a cost of Rs 1.05 crore.  It was given out that the bridge will benefit more than 20 villages of the area and people will get direct connectivity to Jammu Srinagar National highway.

Chief Engineer Sami Aarif, SE R&B circle Anantnag/ Kulgam, Mufti Irfan, Exen R&B Kulgam Mohammad Sidiq and other officers and officials of R&B division Kulgam were present on the occasion. Besides a large number of people were also present at both the places when the projects were dedicated to them.
