Capex budget for Doda finalized

DODA, JULY 06: Deputy Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of the district and sectoral officers to finalise the district capital expenditure budget 2019-20.

During the meeting DDC informed all the participants that the mandate of calling today’s meeting is to prioritise the works which can be completed during the current financial year and although not having big estimated amount, the works shall have more acceptance, visibility and must be guided towards the benefit of the general public.

Further, the proposals from departments including Health, Education, Animal/ Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Hydraulic, PHE, PDD, PWD, social forestry and other departments came under discussion.

Moreover, laying much importance to education and irrigation department DDC directed the education authorities to club the wasteful expenditure, in order to complete the projects which are in the interest of the general quantum of population,besides asked the irrigation department to propose a project which can be completed within the fixed time limits that can generate good amount of benefits for small scale farmers in the district.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda Imam Din, ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma, CPO Parshotam Kumar, ACD, CEO, DFOs, XENs and other district and sectoral officer’s.
