KARGIL, JULY 04: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan has expressed gratitude to the State Administrative Council headed by Governor Satya Pal Malik for according approval to the creation of 495 posts of various categories to make the newly-created administrative unit fully operational.
The CEC also thanked Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam as well as the members of the Committee for Ladakh under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Planning & Development Department, Rohit Kansal for effectively and efficiently working out necessary measures for operationalization of Ladakh Division in a rational manner while laying emphasis on the equal distribution for the two districts.
Khan has also expressed optimism that the Government would also expedite the process of setting up of various Divisional offices in the two districts thereby ensuring that a new era of progress and development kick-starts in the Ladakh Division.
