Srinagar: One drug peddler was arrested by police in Srinagar and contraband substance was recovered from his possession.
One person identified as Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh son of Assadullah Sheikh resident of Barthana was arrested for the drug supply offences and police have seized Charas from his possession, a police spokesman said.
A case FIR No.223/2019 under relevant sections of law has been registered and initiated investigations in the matter.
