WPL: HCC Handwara beat FCC Wanigam

Sopore, June 29: In the ongoing Wular Premier League (WPL), today’s match was played between HCC Handwara and FCC Wanigam here at Tarzoo Sopore.

Bating first, FCC Wanigam scored 138 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Faisal was the top scorer with 34 runs and Captain Irfaq contributed with 30 runs.

For HCC Handwara, Akeel Banday bowled a fabulous Spell and took 5-fer. In reply, HCC Handwara achieved the target in the 20th over for the loss of 7wickets. Hilal made 44 and Irfan scored 33 runs. For FCC Wanigam, Tanveer and Shoib took a wicket each.

Akeel banday was declared man of the match for his brilliant performance.

This tournament is being organised by Sports association Tarzoo.
