DDC Pulwama inaugurates Trichal Span Bridge

PULWAMA, JUNE 29: District Development Commissioner Pulwama Syed Abid Rashid Shah today inaugurated a span bridge at Trichal Pulwama, being constructed at a cost of Rs 2 .25 crore by PWD(R&B) Kashmir.

While dedicating the bridge to the people, DDC congratulated the PWD(R&B) Kashmir for their trend-setting initiative by construction the bridge in record time. He said the bridge will provide better connectivity to disconnected villages and will benefit scores of people living on the two sides especially the Industrial area of Lassipora.  He reiterated that the other under -construction bridges will be also completed at an earliest.

People of the area have admired district administration for constructing the bridge in the shortest time.

Earlier, DDC distributed eight motorized scotties to empower specially-abled persons in a function organized by District Social Welfare office Pulwama.

Social welfare officer, Mukhtar Ahmad and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
