The Principal Secretary Housing and Urban Development Dheeraj Gupta asked the CEC to prepare DPRs for the development of parking facilities, children parks, street lights and public toilets and submit the same to the Government by July 20 so that funds are arranged from the State Sector.

He also said that separate proposals should be framed for development of the mini townships at Drass, Sankoo and Padum.

Later the CEC also called on the Principal Secretary Planning Development and Monitoring Department,  Rohit Kansal and took up with him the issue of early start of work on the expansion of Kargil airport.
