Srinagar, June 26: Peoples’ Conference on Wednesday held a meeting of its Budgam unit to deliberate on party restructuring and activation of political activities for the upcoming Assembly elections in district Budgam.
“Peoples Conference Budgam segment met today and held threadbare discussions on restructuring the party at the district level and activating party’s political activities in the district. During the meeting, it was decided that Peoples’ Conference will focus on strengthening its presence at the grass roots level through concentrated public outreach program in the district,” PC spokesperson Adnan Ashraf Mir said in a statement.
The meeting was presided by Political Adviser to PC Chairman Rashid Mehmood and attended by senior leaders Dawood Lodhi, Javid Junaid, Ghulam Mohi-ud-din War, Shahnawaz Hussain, Aftab Ahmed, Showqat Ahmed among others.
