Gulmarg: A hotel located in north Kashmir’s famous tourist destination was gutted in a fire incident on late Thursday evening.
According to reports, hotel Zum Zum caught fire soon after the culmination of Isha prayer which soon spread to its rooms which were occupied by the local and non-local tourists.
“Police along with locals evacuated the tourists to the safety following which fire fighters reached the spot and brought the fire under control, however the hotel suffered huge damage in the fire incident.
Meanwhile, the police has registered a case in this regard and according to the preliminary investigation, the cause of the fire has been established as short circuit.
