Srinagar, Jun 25: Dead body of local teenage boy was retrieved from a Madumati river in Kaloosa area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district during the preceding night.
Reports said group of locals went inside the rivulet and retrieved the body of a teenager identified as Danish Manzoor Wani, son of Manzoor Ahmad Wani. Wani had drowned on Monday, following which a team of Marcos sleuths of Navy searched for his body but couldn’t trace it.
Reports said that as the Navy left when it got dark, some locals headed by Javid Ahmad Dar and Abdul Hameed went inside gushing waters and retrieved the body.
