He said that besides plethora of areas of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal and Budgam, there various areas of Char-e-Sharief where the damage is massive and hailstorm has wrecked havoc at the large scale. Hanjura said the affected areas include Pakhar Pora, Dalvan, Fatli Pora, Chari Pora, Mohan Pora, Kar Pora, Shankar Pora, Zani Panchal, Kanidajan, Lolipora and several others.

Hanjura questioned the governor administration over the delay being done in the disbursement of the   already approved financial assistance to the farmers whose crops were damaged by the earlier hailstorm.  He urged the government to take on priority the assistance that needs to given to the farmers who have been bearing the brunt of hailstorms and unseasonal rainfall in Kashmir.
