Chairman TCI passes away; demise condoled widely

Srinagar: Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo, chairman Trumboo Cement Industries (TCI) passed away at 12:00 pm on Saturday.

His funeral prayers were held at 6 pm today at Nishat in Srinagar.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah has condoled the death of Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo.

Taking to social networking site Twitter, Omar wrote: “My heart felt condolences to the Tramboo family upon the tragic passing of Haji Abdul Ahad Tramboo Sahib. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat.”

Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone on Saturday expressed profound grief over the sad demise of prominent businessman Khwaja Abdul Ahad Tramboo.

While condoling the demise of Abdul Ahad Tramboo, Sajad expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. “May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength and patience to the bereaved family in this difficult hour.”

People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President and Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has condoled the death of Haji Abdul Ahad Tramboo, chairman Tramboo Cement Industries (TCI).

While expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Mehbooba described the deceased as a veteran businesman, philanthropist and a great human being.

“May Allah grant Haji Sahab highest place in Jannah and grant his family strength to bear this loss” , she prayed.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senior leader and former minister Naeem Akhtar has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of renowned industrialist and businessman Khawaja Abdul Ahad Tramboo,

In his condolence message, Akhar termed Late Tramboo a Philantrophist who will be remembered for times to come for his charitable activities. Akhtar while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family prayed for their patience at this hour of grief and also prayed for the departed soul that he may be granted highest place in Jannah.

Saddened by the death of a renowned business personality, social worker and philanthropist, Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo, All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani said that deceased was an iconic figure among the business fraternity.

He said by his hard work and dedication he earned a distinguished name and fame in Kashmir. He used to help the needy and destitute, through different means.

Recalling his association with late Trumboo Sahab, Geelani said that despite being a very busy person, he would ensure meeting me when I was at Sopore.

Former finance minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Saturday expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of prominent industrialist and businessman Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo who passed away this morning.

In his condolence message issued here, Bukhari described the deceased a thorough gentleman who had carved a niche in the business fraternity through his hard work, dedication and commitment.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, the former finance minister prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to his family to face this difficult time of grief and bereavement.

“May God grant Jannat to the departed soul and bestow courage and endurance to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss,” Bukhari said while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family.
