Pulwama: Street leading from Murran Chowk in dilapidated condition

Pulwama, Jun 19: The residents of New Colony Zargar Mohallah of Pulwama town complained about the dilapidated condition of a local street leading from Murran Chowk.

The residents said that the street is in dilapidated condition and during rainfall; it becomes water-logged due to overflowing brook running parallel to it.

“The length of street according to locals is nearly one and a half kilometers and before nine years, it was repaired by roads and buildings department (R&B) Pulwama but since then no repairing work was carried out,” they added.

A local resident, Ab Rashid, said: “Around 65 households having access to this street are facing difficulties to travel through it.”
