JKP, NIA hold capacity building training programme

June 19: A Three Days ‘’Capacity Building Training Programme” was organized by J&K Police in association with NIA (National Investigation Agency) at Conference Hall of PCR Kashmir for the officers of J&K Police.

A police spokesman said that the training programme started w.e.f 17th June 2019 and culminated on 19th June 2019. The session was attended by 36 police officers including five Superintendents of Police, 15 Dy. Superintendents of Police, 15 Inspectors and one Sub Inspector.

During the training programme basic investigation techniques were discussed threadbare besides the use of scientific methods during investigation was also highlighted and officers were also briefed about use of modern technology in investigation of cases especially cyber crime cases, said the spokesman.

At the conclusion, IGP Kashmir addressed the training session and reiterated the officers to follow the investigation techniques in letter and spirit so that the conviction rate is increased considerably.
