Srinagar, June 18: A body of a youth was recovered under mysterious conditions in Khawaja Bazar area of Khanyar in old Srinagar on Tuesday.
Reports reaching GNS said that some locals spotted the body inside a washroom at Khawja Bazar area of Naqishband Sahib in Khanyar and informed police about it.
Soon after being informed police reached the spot and recovered the body, they said.
A police officer also confirmed the incident and said and identified the deceased was identified as Haroon Rasheed (24) son of Abdul Rasheed from Bachpora Soura.
He said that a case under 174 CrPc has been initiated and further investigations taken up. (GNS)
