Hailstorm, heavy rains lash Srinagar parts
Srinagar, Jun 17: Hailstorm followed by heavy rain lashed parts of Srinagar district on Monday afternoon.
Around 4: 30 today, hailstorm followed by rains was witnessed in the summer capital Srinagar. The same situation was also witnessed in district Baramulla’s Pattan area while as south Kashmir’s Anantnag district and adjoining places witnessed strong winds.
Meanwhile, a Met department spokesperson informed that isolated light rain and thundershowers would occur during the next 36 hours in Kashmir Valley. He said the weather will turn dry from June 20 onwards.
