Srinagar: V K Singh, IPS, today took over as DGP Prisons, J&K.
Soon after assuming charge, Singh took an introductory meeting during which he took note of various issues pertaining to the Department, a police spokesman said, adding, Singh emphasised on augmentation of security of jails and rehabilitation of prisoners.
