ADDC Kupwara reviews Urs arrangements

KUPWARA, JUNE 13: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara Thursday chaired a review meeting to finalise the arrangements for the smooth celebration of Urs of Hazrat Zeeti Shah Sahib (RA) commencing from 17th to 18th June, 2019 at Mukam-i-shahwali Drugmulla Kupwara.

During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held with respect to the availability of essentials, so that the devotees arriving in large numbers may not face any inconvenience.

On the occasion ADDC Kupwara directed the concerned authorities to ensure an adequate supply of ration, uninterrupted power and water supply during the schedule hours besides maintaining proper sanitation in and around the shrine. Moreover, the ADDC directed the Health Department to facilitate the first aid facility at the venue. He also directing the department of  R&B  and MC Kupwara to  ensure repairing and clearance of all  roads leading to the shrine so that hassle-free movement of devotees is ensured.

ADDC Kupwara also said that the Tehsildar Drugmulla shall monitor the overall arrangements put in place by the different departments for smooth celebration of Urs-Shareef.

The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Drugmulla, representatives of R&B, PHE, PDD MC Kupwara and other concerned.
