Speed-up work on pending proposals taken up during PDP’s tenure: Veeri urges Govt

Srinagar:  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice President Abdul Rahman Veeri on Tuesday flayed the government over snail’s pace of work going on over various developmental projects in the state.

Veeri in a statement issued here said that there are scores of projects approved by the PDP led government in the state which have gone into limbo and the state authorities aren’t bothered at all about their plight.

He added that particularly in South Kashmir, projects worth hundreds of crores have been left unattended by the present dispensation due to which people are facing immense hardships every day.

Veeri urged the Governor administration to speed-up  work on pending proposals taken up during PDP’s tenure in the state and not to let the vital developmental projects to gather dust and remain unimplemented.
