Div Com reviews progress on extension of Jammu Airport

JAMMU, JUNE 08: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma today convened a meeting of executing agencies to review the progress of work on extension of Jammu Airport and under construction nullah at Bhagwati Nagar.

The Meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, Chief Engineer PWD Nasir Goni,  Engineers of PWD, UEED, ERA and other concerned.

The officers of executing agencies informed the Div Com about the present status of works on extension of Jammu Airport.

The officer informed about the work done so far and also informed that there are pendency of tree felling, structure removals, land possession and other issues.

The Div Com asked the concerned officers to remove the bottlenecks and expedite the pace of work and meet the timelines.

The Div Com also reviewed the work on covering nullah near Airport.

Meanwhile, he also reviewed the progress of work on under construction nullah at Bhagwati Nagar.

Engineers of concerned department informed about the physical status of work.

The Div Com passed directions to expedite the work and complete the work well before Amarnathji Yatra.
