Ganderbal, June 08: ADGP Security, L&O, Home guards, Civil Defence Muneer Ahmad Khan-IPS today reviewed security arrangements made for the forth coming Mela Kheer Bhawani at Ganderbal.
ADGP Muneer Ahmad Khan was accompanied by SP Security Masroor-JKPS, ASP Ganderbal Fayaz Hussain, DySP HQ, DySP security, DySP Home SDRF and other officers. SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal gave a detailed briefing about the elaborate security arrangements put in place for the devotees and necessary facilities available for the convenience of devotees at security checkpoints.
As a part of advance preparation for Disaster management ADGP directed to use the resources of Home Guard & Civil Defences wherever the need is felt.
Later ADGP Muneer Ahmad Khan interacted with the representatives of J&K Dharmarth Trust and assured them of all possible assistance from police for the smooth conduct of Mela.
