EC health visits Shargole

KARGIL, JUNE 07: Executive Councillor for Health Muhammad Ali Chandan visited several villages of Shargole block including Karamba.

During the visit, the EC visited Primary Health Centre (PHC) Shargole and took stock of the healthcare facilities being provided to the people of the area. He also went round different sections of the PHC and inquired from the officers about the medicare facilities available to people of the area.

The Block Medical Officer (BMO) Shargole apprised the EC about the facilities being provided to the patients at the PHC. He also briefed him about various issues pertaining to the health institution.

The EC directed the BMO Shargole to attend Council Secretariat with all the details of the PHC for the last two years.

The EC stressed on the BMO, doctors and  the paramedical staff to work with missionary zeal and enthusiasm besides making all out efforts in providing better health care facilities to the general public. He also asked them to remain punctual in their duties.

Meanwhile, the EC also took stock of the macadamization work presently being executed in the area by Project Vijayak from KM 62 to KM 70.

The Officer Commanding 55 RCC Project Vijayak apprised the EC about the progress achieved so far.

The EC stressed on the executing agency to complete the required works within a time bound manner while taking due care of quality parameters.

The concerned officers of Project Vijayak assured the EC that macadamization of the road stretch as well as other allied works will be completed as per the specifications approved by the department within the stipulated timeline.
