“The main focus is being laid on BALA (Building as a learning Aid) concept and to make learning as an art activity, which will behold the interest of the thousands of students across the district. The initiative will also address the issue of increasing dropouts and change the mindset of the people about govt. schools simultaneously” the officials added.

They said that for the first time grading system has been initiated by district administration, under which govt. schools will be graded on various parameters, for which capacity building of the grading teams has been already done.

“The basic purpose of grading system is to ensure that truly excellent results are extracted from every school, so as to restore the integrity of education system. The schools lagging behind should be brought at parlance with the better performing ones through a properly devised mechanism,“ said Education Department officials.

They said that the teaching community has also shown immense interest and excitement in this initiative and are actively participating in this pious and student friendly mission. “Many teachers have made splendid efforts in order to accumulate greater credits so as to bring increased proficiency among the students” claimed the officials.
