Srinagar: Srinagar police facilitated two public interactive meetings which were held at Police Station Panthachowk and Police Station Maisuma.

The meeting at Police Station Panthachowk was chaired by SDPO Panthachowk Sajad Bukhari while SHO Maisuma chaired the meeting at Police Station Maisuma.

Respectable citizens of the nearby area participated in the meeting at PS Panthachowk. At PS Maisuma, respectable citizens including hoteliers of Lal Chowk participated, a police spokesman said.

During these meetings various issues including social crimes like drug menace were raised by the participants.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, the chairing officers assured the participants that their issues will be redressed on priority, said the spokesman.
